Position: Purchasing Estimator -Residential Construction
Job Description:
In order to meet the demands of continuing growth in the Houston area, we are seeking a focused professional to join our team. You will enjoy a rewarding career collaborating with other motivated purchasing professionals who set the standard for customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Coordination and analysis of vendor bids
- Development of plan take-offs
- Development and maintenance of data bases
- Development and maintenance of job-cost budgets
Requirements:
- College graduate with strong desire for professional growth
- Strong organization and communication skills
- Ability to process multiple activities simultaneously
- Ability to initiate and drive required activities
- Solid mathematical and analytical skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel
- Experience with data base systems and estimating software
- Experience as a Purchasing Estimator
