Position: Residential Construction Superintendent
Job Description:
We are currently seeking highly motivated experienced Residential Construction Superintendent (Builder) to be a part of our Houston team.
Job Responsibilities:
- To construct a quality home per Southern Mark Homes standards within a prescribed time schedule while minimizing costs.
- To manage and inspect the quality of the job performed by subcontractors and hold them accountable to Southern Mark Homes quality standards.
- Schedule and organize subcontractors to complete work on a timely basis and complete subcontractor payroll.
- Work with sales consultant toward providing homebuyer with the home they want.
- Maintain rapport with the buyers in regard to buyer concerns and custom options.
Job Requirements:
- A college education with 2-3 years experience with a major homebuilder is strongly preferred.
- Ability to delegate and inspect work-in-progress items throughout the new home construction process while maintaining high level of quality.
